Overview

Photo From Emoji Generator is designed as a privacy-first browser tool. Normal image upload, preview, emoji mosaic generation, and PNG download happen locally in your browser.

Photos You Upload

When you choose or drag a JPG, PNG, or WEBP file into the tool, the file is opened by your browser so it can be decoded into a canvas. The default workflow does not upload your original photo to our server.

The tool may resize large images in the browser to keep preview generation responsive. This local resize does not change the original file on your device.

Generated Results and Sharing

Downloading a PNG is local: the browser renders the emoji mosaic and saves the generated image.

If you click Share, the tool asks for confirmation first. Share uploads only the generated emoji mosaic PNG and its settings so a result page can be opened later. The original photo is not uploaded by the share action.

Shared result pages are marked noindex, follow by default and are not intended for mass public indexing.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining does not affect image generation, download, or sharing. The notice closes after you make a choice. You can change your choice using Privacy choices in the page footer.

After consent, Google receives public page visits and tool actions such as choosing an image, using an example, finishing a preview, preparing a PNG export, and creating a share link. Technical event fields can include image dimensions, file type and size, generation duration, settings, and fixed error codes. Google also processes browser and device information and uses analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Advertising storage, Google signals, and ad personalization are disabled in our tag configuration.

Our analytics events do not include your original image file, filenames, image pixels, generated image data, clipboard contents, or shared result links. Page locations exclude query strings and fragments. Analytics is limited to the public tool and legal pages, excluding shared result, account, and admin pages. We do not enable automatic form, outbound-link, or site-search collection.

See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Consent does not make analytics anonymous or guarantee that every visit is counted: declined consent, browser protection, and network restrictions can prevent collection.

Cookies and Local Storage

We save your analytics choice in local browser storage. If you allow analytics, our tag sets analytics cookies with a 90-day expiry that may renew on later visits. Withdrawing consent stops our analytics collection and clears these cookies on this site. Browser caches may store static assets such as emoji metadata and example images to improve performance.

Emoji Assets

The tool uses emoji characters and metadata for matching. Emoji appearance can vary by device, browser, operating system, and font. If a bundled or third-party emoji asset set is used in the future, the site will provide the relevant attribution and license information.

Data Retention

Normal local generation does not create a server-side copy of your original image. Shared generated results may be stored so the share page can load. Shared results can be deleted on request where technically available.
